One of the illustrious Tzaddikim of the past generation was the great Baba Sali zt”l, Rabbi  Yisrael Abuchatzeira. Originally from Morocco, he was a descendant of a family renowned for their piety, proficiency in Torah and mastery of Kabbalah. Those who merited being close to him witnessed wondrous miracles on a constant basis. From across the world, people came seeking his prayers, blessings and divine guidance. His grave, located in Netivot, is one of the many holy places that people visit when in Eretz Yisroel. His hilula is an auspicious time, an eit ratzon, and people commemorate his life and his passing on this day.  Rabbi Ezra Dayan spent an uplifting night in Yeshiva, telling over stories and wonders from this great tzaddik and inspiring the boys to follow in his lofty ways. There was a beautiful seuda, with many different delicacies that allowed each participant to make many brachot in the Baba Sali’s merit. And, of course, a l’chaim on “arak”, like the great tzaddik was known to offer his petitioners!  We thank all the gracious sponsors for making this such a wonderful and uplifting night.  May Baba Sali's memory be a blessing for them and all of klal yisroel. Zchuto yagen Aleinu. Amen
